New Treasures at Home

I can't believe I haven't posted anything since June. Life does get in the way of play, doesn't it!!

The new TV is in place.

Now everything is arranged. Notice that there are now 6 little pictures. It does look good, and the TV isn't tooo big. 52" The 6 drawers are great for the DVD's.

Pictures for Flickr

A couple of the pictures that I took for Flickr this week.

I was driving to Giant Eagle and found 11 of these turkey vultures in the trees. I just had to stop and take their pictures. They were huge!

Warner Road Covered Bridge

In the furthest south-west corner of Ashtabula County is this little beauty. Sometimes called Warner Hollow Bridge. We'd never seen it before. We were on our way to Cleveland and went through the country. Sure get tired of I90!

I was pointing the camera into the sun, but kind of like the sunbeams. Yes, that's Rick at the other end.

View through one of the side windows.

Rick driving the Prius through the bridge.

Nestled in the trees and a long way above the river.

Very nice spot.

Visiting Erie, PA

This huge barge was tied up on the pier. It said "American Waterways Wind Orchestra" on the side. When we got home, Rick looked it up on the Internet and found out it has traveled all over the world over the last 50 years. This is at least the third barge. We'd never heard of it. Interesting.

One man was feeding the seagulls and the other taking their pictures.

Tower at the end of the pier in Erie. See... no buds on the tree, yet. Brr.

When we came out of Wegman's (grocery store), these amazing clouds were lit by the sun, and it looked like each cloud was raining. Very unusual.

About 5 minutes later they had changed, but a pretty sunset. See the remaining ice piles in the parking lot?

Shadows and Ice in the Sand

It was a beautiful day at Presque Isle, PA.

Seashells in the sand.

Sand Art someone left to share.

These are ice piles on the shore of Lake Erie. Winter is almost gone, but a little ice is still spotted once in awhile.
